3ed event elimination

Guys, please keep in mind that removing the cats is a federal offense. Not something we condone here at DTR.

I would be very interested in a off-road box that would remove the 3rd event. It would be nice if it were able to in-cab switch between event or no event.
A well made and well priced box would sell very well!

Off Road
Yup same here (neighbors are getting mad that I drive through there yard to get to work though) But I agree. I drive on the road so I'm screwed, however you could still get rid of the pilot shot too, I don't mind noise. Want quiet, buy an electric truck. I want sick power, sick millage, and just everything else.
Besides you see how low that Cat hangs down, off roading on rocks you'd be sure to wack it. The way I see it, god knows when it's time for it to go, and when it is, it'll come off on it's own (that way I "technically" didn't do anything illegal)
I'm number one on the waiting list since I called it. Who's next

The heavy moded trucks are all for off road racing any way.
we all know this is an off road racing thing and most race trucks dont run stock exh.

Will there be a loss in power on a stock truck if the 3rd even is eliminated? (How about on a modified truck?)

The 3ed event dont add to power, so there should be no loss in power on stock or modified trucks

My Grampa once told me somethings that go like this: 1. It AIN'T cheating unless you get caught. 2. If you AIN'T cheating, you AIN'T trying hard enough. This is just a friendly exchange of information here; no one is twisting anyones arm here to do something to their truck!!!!
If leaving the kitty makes the exhaust cleaner at the expence of fuel efficiency/economy, doesn't that mean that it takes MORE fuel to drive X distance. Is the gain in cleaner exhaust more than using less fuel for the same distance without a kitty??? Where is the cost/benefit analysis for this whole thing???? Makes my head hurt trying to figure the logic that mandated this sort of horse manure!!!!!!

The mpg is good now, but the EGT's are in outer space even with the turbo. That would be my ticket in
