3500 regular cab fuel and ride question
Hi there everyone. I am considering buying a 2004 3500 dually 4x4 with regular cab, six speed and cummings, larame package. It appears that in the Dodge web site you can only get the 4.10 rear end or at least it would not let me select the 3.73.
I have had a chance to drive a 3500 dually with the four door cab and that ride pretty good. It was a little rough in the rear end but not bad. My question is what is the ride like in a regular cab dually and what sort of fuel mpg is one getting with this setup? It appears to not be common for Dodge to sell a regular cab dually so the dealers arround here dont have one i can drive. Thanks for the input. Dan

About the fuel economy...
Many people on this forum are reporting MPG to be lower with the 2004.5 (600) than with the 2003, 2004 HO. Unfortunately many are saying 12 - 13 mpg with the set-up you're talking about. I don't think anyone really knows for sure what is causing this. The cat on the 600 might be part of it.
You can read all about it in the "M.P.G on a New 600" thread in this forum
