3/4 T Steering Box

3/4 T Steering Box
OK basic information first as I can see everyone wants that first.
2006 3/4 ton Quad Cab, 8 foot bed, 4x4, auto transmission, all set up to haul a camper, electric brakes.
I just had a Ranchhand Legend bumper installed and I was crawling around looking at the install when I noticed a slight weep on the steering box. I looked at the leak, smelled it, etc. and cleaned off the steering box to see if I get further evidence of a leak. This was at 6-8 degrees and I'd just finished driving around 90-100 miles. The trip back was stop here for lunch, here for groceries and then stop and go in town traffic. I haven't driven it since as I don't use the truck for much except hunting, fishing and long road trips.
Is there a problem with the steering boxes? And if so are they fairly easy to pull and install for the home spun wrench?

Can you see where the leak is coming from? It could be just a hose connection.
If it is a pump, you can change them fairly easy with normal home tools and a bit a repair know how.
