2wd low on a 05?

My buddy likes the 2wd low I have on my truck and wants to do the same to his truck. He has a 05 Dodge Cummins 2500 4wd 6speed. How do the 03-07 front axles engage and disengage? Are they vacuum or elec or? Is it possible to do the 2wd low mod?
Thanks for the help
Glen

Not possible on 2005s (and up) unless you have manual locking/unlocking hubs. The front axle and drive-shaft are connected/rotating all the time.
