2nd gear launch 'Hiccup'?
In the last week or so my truck developed a strange phenomenon. Launching hard in 2nd gear the engine will momentarily 'hiccup' for the lack of a better term. So far I haven't been able to duplicate this issue in any of the higher gears. Tried different TM levels on the SMARTY and it's still there, but to a lesser extent in the stock mode.
Going to change the fuel filter this weekend (needed to do it anyway) and see if it makes a difference. Wonder if it's the FCA? Lift pump heading south? Again, seems to run fine in all the other gears.
Anyone have any ideas?

Changed the fuel filter and it's still hiccuping. Able to duplicate in third gear now.
I'm guessing the FCA is sticking and can't react fast enough to quick throttle inputs.
Going to remove the SMARTY until I can get this issue resolved.

You still running on the factory LP? My guess would be the LP is going to take a dirt nap. FCA's normally don't rear there ugly heads in this way. My LP died a 24,000 miles LOL

Hoping it's not the lift pump because that's going to be my Christmas present.
I have a heavy dose of Power Service in the tank now to see if the issue will clear up. Seems a little better this afternoon, but time will tell.

Hey Rick,
I'm going with the Raptor 100. Will keep using the Baldwin 5 micron in the stock canister and may add a 2 micron absolute downstream.
