I just started in the last month to get the white smoke at start up and the rough idle. I never had this until I started adding fuel additives to my fill-ups! Could the additives be causing this? I fill up at the same fuel station, most of the time and did not have this problem previously.

Or, is this just caused by use and wear and mine just took 24K to show up?

Any help is appreciated!

Tell the dealer you have rough idle and smoke at start up. He'll probably reflash and you'll be good to go! At least it worked for me on my 04.5 600, got better mpg to boot.

You might have carbon build up on an injector or two. Go pull something heavy for a couple hours and get engine temps hot to burn the carbon off.

Thank you for the info! I appreciate it. I have to go to the dealer for the recall anyway and to get the speedo recalibrated, so I'll just add it to the list!
