hang on a sec, whose truck is this you are working on? yours or dad's ? if its Dad's, put the hood down, and slowly walk away. I want no part in you ruining someone else's truck.. HHI not exactly cheap seats, figured $ wasn't a prob.

 

And warranty will probably not cover something you did.....there is no way that something 'normal' can 'scar' the intake side of the turbo.

 

its my truck...and you are right about hhi....but no it is 100% my truck... and im 15 & a half...so i do have my restricted if thats what you were wondering about

I'm guessing if you have those toys you have enough to take it to diesel shop to have them put whatever on or take whatever off. You really dont want to mess up the compressor and have shards of metal making its way to your engine. Your warranty will be gone if the dealer finds scratchs on compressor housing and a blade in one of the cylinders.

I'm an engineer and loved to take the family VCR apart when I was young but I also got my @#$@ kicked when stuff didnt work. Be careful.
