I had my remote start removed by the dealership that installed it.
We felt that if it was going to spin the starter longer than necessary, it may do damage. So I got the powerwagon fender flares instead, no damage there.

Mines coming out here on Friday for a CompuSTAR remote starter/alarm. I got the factory one working but the starter runs way too long IMO!! Fender flares are way better anyways!!

I am having difficulty using my remote start again after having my keys reprogrammed. Dealer is saying that the computer module(s) are hozed and will require replacing. I think it is something much more simple than this. But, they do not have the installation manual/guide anymore, and they did the installation. Is there any way you could send me the installation guide that you posted here ? I think that they are overlooking something, and maybe I can help them figure it out. Would really like my remote start back - I really enjoyed it. Thanks -
