The BD overdrive lockout works like the auto in the 06. You have normal shifts with od, towhaul shifts with od, or normal shifts with od lockout. The TSB gives you normal shifts with od, or normal shifts with od locked out. My 03 worked the same as the TSB, and worked great with my trailer. I only pull about 6-7000lbs. My 05 has 20 hp more, so I'm sure it'll work well. Someone who tows all the time with a much heavier load may want the BD, so they have the tow haul. (In my case because my trailer is relatively light, I prefer the TSB, because; 1) It didn't cost me extra. 2) My warranty will not be affected. 3) It worked great with my 03.)

I had my truck "flashed" today iand had the tech. use the OB111 to over drive "delete" in the tow haul mode. It worked perfectly I tried it he tried it and off I go. I drive about 60 miles park my truck work for about 4 hrs., time to go home and decide to try the new feature again....guess what the truck shifted back to OD in the tow haul mode like before? The shift points were back as if it was stock? It's like it lost it's memory? Called the Tech, he didn't know what happened? Any guess twhy it would work and then stop? Anyone else had this problem when they first flashed it?
