Now at 19,700 miles and the truck has never back for any problems. It has been great and especially great since put in the Airaid inlet system and BullyDog power pup with Crazy Larry - WOW. Regular driving mileage went from about 18.5 to over 20 on the 1st fillup. Have done all regular maintenance myself and changed fuel & trans filters at 16K and rearend lube with Amsoil extreme service other oil filter at 3 times up to 10 then changed to Amsoil & 7,500 mile filter intervals, trying to get the Donaldson extreme service oil filters and they should be in now for me to pickup. It,s been great.

Yes it was fishy, the dealer sez ithe crank position sensor is on a national backorder, he took one of stock unit, and that was not the problem, brand new 3500 with 517 miles on it and it won't run very long, now talking about the 'puter! Any suggestions? Marko

I've got a small vibe around 70 mph, but is a little better than when I bought the truck. Also my door seals are wearing like most others are , dealer has mine already to install. 5000 miles.

I had the 70 MPH Vibe, but the dealer replaced the driveshaft and rear axle, and now its nice and smooth. My only complaint is that with 4:10 gears the engine governor tops out at about 3,200 RPM which is about 105 MPH

Have an 04 w/ 29,000 miles. Dealer had it for a month has vibe that starts at 60 mph worst at 75. The factory may buy it back unless I can suggest something they haven't tried.

I love driving in Tow/Haul mode, shifts firmer, and takes off and gets up to speed a lot faster. Have not towed yet however am going on a 1200 mile round trip with about 7500lbs of weight, so I'll see how it does, and I do pull some long hills, 7% and a few miles long. I love mine so far, i had the V10 98 Dodge and I love the Cummins
Does the 2005 have the tow/haul button? I thought it was no longer on there to manually lock it in? I thought the tranny automticaly does it for you. I can be wrong but i thought i've read that on some of the posts?

But the logic is different 04.5MY is OD lockout. 05MY is Tow/haul logic. 06MY will have both (press button once for tow/haul, press it again for od lockout).

Mastow did you get your answer??? Sounds like your going to be in court for a while. And to all the people on this forum.. feels good paying $35,000 for a vibrator... my truck just turned 1 year old, and i got 38,000 miles on it .. I really use my truck , unlike most of you commuters..
So to all you.. make shur to not tell anyone about dodge because you might feel embarassed.
I tell everyone I see.. Fuc% Dodge

I am just hitting 12k on my truck, and I've had it since Dec 1, 04. The truck was great through the cold winter, and there has never been any vibration.
So far, the Driver side door seal problem has surfaced, and will be replaced, the 2 chrome wheel covers have the chrome peeling and are being replaced, I noticed the drive belt had a sliver of it peel of from rubbing on one of the pulleys, and I will bring that in for replacement as well. I also see that I get a small fuel stain when I fill up to the neck of the fill tube around the top of the tank I will get checked as well.
Got average of 16mpg over the winter and up to 18.5 highway(70mph) with the summer fuel now and a new air filter.
I am very happy with this one, so far so good.

Plastic end cap ones that are being replaced with metal end capped CAC's.

2006 is back to metal.

Plastic CAC's, what a great MCM (material cost management, or better known as Make Customer Mad ).

800 miles ......
Runs great
14.3around town with a little freeway
Installed the edge at about 500 miles.
15.1 MPG now
Hoping to get better
01 was getting 17mpg. Same driving.
New truck handles like a sports car.
And fast with the edge
