2005 not starting after new batteries installed

Had new batteries installed oil changed and filter. Drove home it ran fine and has sat for a couple weeks now it doesn't start. Turns over - no codes - fuel getting to engine. Checked fuses. Disconnected batteries to reset computer with no help.

what brand of batteries? Check the batteries to make sure you don't have a dead cell in one even though they're new. Let me know after you check.

I missed the turn over part in you original post. Check the air inlet sensor on the air intake. Make sure it's well connected, no loose wires etc. I am going to look in my service manual while your doing that.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I will do that Monday. my neighbor has left for the rest of the weekend. I looked in my cd manual and didn't see anything but didn't think of that. I think she did have the air filter replaced and maybe they screwed something there

You bet! I left mine unplugged one time and the truck wouldn't start. Other times it did run with the sensor unplugged, but the check engine light was on. These trucks are like a women on pms at times. You never know what they're going to do. I will check back Monday. Have a great Easter!

Fuel is fine??

1. What is the low side fuel pressure when the lift pump runs?

2. What is the high side fuel pressure when cranking & the CP3 is turning?

I don't have anything to check the pressures.
I did check the plug on the air inlet sensor and it is good. I may have an extra from my truck and switch out

I think I did that but will check tomorrow to see if I did. I was checking all the fuses and relays but with my luck didn't do that ONE!

How did you check to know for sure that the truck actually is getting fuel to fuel filter housing? Bare with me on this.

^^I was afraid you would say that...

If you didn't check both the low & high side fuel pressures you don't know if the fuel system is fine at all.

Don't assume anything while troubleshooting technical problems.
