2004 dodge diesel

Ok call me a dumb A__ but this week end I pulled into a fling J seen a green hose and pumped 70 gal. of fuel drove 3.5 miles and the truck started missing looked at my sales ticket and discovered it was unleaded fuel drove back to the fling J and proceeded to give the Manager a piece of my mind ended up calling a tow truck and draining 70 gal. Of fuel any way’s what I wanted to know does any one know if 7 miles traveled will do any long term damage to my new truck? I Had about a 1/4 of a tank of diesel in my main tank.

Any comments would be appreciated

Shouldn't damage anything, just make sure to get it ALL out, and run a lubricative additive in the next tank.

I once watched some tough-guy in Yuma fill his Harley with Diesel, and then attempt to blame the cashier for his ignorance. When his buddies (and everyone else there), got done laughing at him, they pushed the bike off to the side to drain the tank and refill it with gasoline. That doo-rag must have cut off the blood supply to his brain!

Them GREEN handles get a lot of folkes I bet.My neighbor just did the same thing. He asked old MOM and POP running the store if they were aware the GREEN usually means DIESEL.He got the DEER in the headlight look.

That's why I look for the green hose, not handle. At least most of the diesel pumps have green hoses around here. I guess it pays to just slow down and read the label over the pump handle.
