2004 Dodge 3500 Cummins Fuel System Problems

So my problem started February of 2011. As of late I have replaced my fuel injector pump and my lift pump and still I am unable to get my truck to start. I am getting fuel at the rail. Something just doest seem to be clicking. Almost like im loosing pressure and get a thumping noise. Any sugguestions are appreciated. I have put a lot of money into my truck and total bummer to get my hopes up to find that its not starting again and again.

Baring an electrical problem, my guess and about the only thing left if the injector$. Usually they go before the LP and IP on the CR truck.

If you're fetting fuel to the rail but a no fire issue.....good bet your injectors are done. Have you tried ohming the injector solenoids to see if you're getting a good reading?

Get ECM updated, two new codes have been added. These new codes will set if you have excessive return flow from injectors. Easy way to check without having to run injector return flow test. Further test needed to determine which injectors are causing excessive return flow.

Not likely but dealer is only way to get update done. Check for codes and do a fuel system tests. FCA and injectors are expensive and you don't want to keep throwing parts on truck and not fix problem.

Find someone in your area with a smarty jr or sr. and have them load any tune. Then return the truck back to the stock tune. That should give you the latest stock update available. Unless something newer was released after May 30/12. That should reset your ecm.
