I,m ready to buy a ford This is my new used motor. After installation I installed a 3 micron filtre and 5 psi warning light on my fuel system than I noticed my light was flickering under load.It was dropping to 5 psi under load .so I installed a on the frame fuel pump from BD Power. Pulled the one in tank . Lots of pressure now No more red warning light New problem while sitting at a long red light when I take off it seems like it starving for fuel for a couple seconds. Short stops it,s fine I,m going on holidays fri so I,m very desperate ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT THis also happened briefly before the new pump I believe it,s getting worse.

 

Did you check your fuel filter.

 

N o I just put this in last week I just took it for a drive and noticed that when idling if I rev it up it shoots a little smoke out almost looks dark not white??
