injector problems

I have 39,000+ and with the exhaust mod. and the "holes" in the airbox (temporary fix) she seems to run like a top. But... I have been smelling raw fuel lately and I can't make a visual as yet. Do any of you think this could be due to an injector? Thanks for your input.

15,000 in 6 months. No problems--love it. Only complaint is fuel mileage is 12-16mpg, mountain driving in California. I think I got a dirty tank of fuel. I changed the fuel filter at 12,000 and mileage went up to 18-20 for about a week and then gradually back down. Filter was black. I think I have crap in my tank . Have not had time to check it out.

28,000+ and finally is going in for a few things on Monday. I have diesel residue on the DS that has been collecting dust...prolly a leak. Alt bracket needs replaced as well as a few TSB's and recall for the PCM programming. Still pulls hard to the right...doubt they will fix that due to the miles. Other than that, running like a top with the Edge on #6 all of the time. Luckly for me no rear end whine nor tranny rattles.
