My new truck (7,000 miles now) seems to shift hard. The 2-3 shift always occurs at a minimum of 1800 rpm no matter how gently I drive it.

Any of you other 2006 owners care to comment on the 2-3 shift and whether or not shifting at 1800 rpm seems normal?

I don't have problem of it not shifting till 1800 rpm but if I'm not giving it significant throttle say, about 1600 rpms worth, it won't upshift into 3rd, it'll just ride along in second so if I either let off or hit the throttle it'll shift.

 

What MPH is it shifting at. Mine wont go into 4th until 40mph and will not lock the TC until 50mph everytime no matter what. is this normal?
