Do you somehow have a speed limiter on there? It's probley defueling at that speed.

As far as a recalibration goes, I took mine to the dealer and they used their DRB scanner, I think it was. To recalibrate my tires.

I'm using the SMARTY programmer and the limiter is adjustable. Think I set mine to 130 mph.

not sure if the previous owner has set a "speed limiter" on this truck. but it stops excellerating right at 105 mph.

i might visit my local dodge dealer and ask if they can calibrate my speedo to my 35" tires. it's 5 mph off(according to my garmin gps) hmmm?
then the truck only goes to 100mph

The Smarty will allow you to decide what your top speed should be
We were doing more than your top speed on a Baja beach last week

my local dealer says that the "speed limiter" can not be adjusted and that the "speedometer" reads the speed of the vehicle from a "tone" ring in the rear axle and can not be adjusted for 35" tires.
he would have to have an authorization from "dodge headquarters" to perform this work.

if he can't do any of this, why does he need auth. from dodge?

also, if i install a programmer to try and adjust the 2 inputs, they can detect that a programmer was used and possibly void any warranty.
is he givin' me a line of BS? lol

I had my speedometer adjusted at the dealer. Get the specs from the tire Manufacture on how many revolution the tire makes in a mile. The dealer can put that into the computer (they told me at first they did not have the size in the system and said they could figure it out by measuring the circumference and dividing 5280 (feet per mile) by that number, but TOYO had that info in the website). My 285-75-17 were off. started off a mile or two then as I got faster I was almost 10 MPH off. Going 70 on the Truck was giving me 80 on GPS. Now my Truck is spot on.

The 06 and newer trucks do not have the option to program revolutions per mile. Only can program factory sizes in them.

Smarty will raise the top speed.

Smarty TNT-R will raise rpm to 4,000 with supporting mods.

Larger tires.

Overdrive unit...Gear Vendors, Mitchell, etc

At 3200 rpm, my truck's at 145 mph. At 4,000 rpm its 180 mph.

If you feel like you're hitting a limiter (defueling) just override it by turning your key like you're going to start the truck. Honest, it works.

BTW, my ittty-bitty SO has no trouble with 105+.
