06, 2500, 373, 4X4, stock tires, Automatic. I left Mesa AZ on 6-15-2006 headed for Kansas MO. I had 8039 miles on my truck and was pulling an empty car hauler. My first tank was 480 miles and I added 31.49 gallons which should be 14.60 MPG if my math is correct. My overhead stated 16.3 MPG. I picked up an 1934 Ford Sedan and came home on the 18th with an ending millage of 10626. A total of 2587 miles. I got 13.70 MPG for the trip and the overhead indicated I got 15.3 MPG. I ran 80 MPH in AZ and New Mexico and 70 MPH in Texas, OK, and Kansas. Each tank varried all the way from 16.52 MPG to 10.59 MPG. I guess it depends on head winds, wieght and how high you top can off. I was happy.

 

I went to miss this past weekend 364 miles one way going i was making time when i filled up i hand cal 10.5 miles per gal but was running anywhere from 75 to 95 at one point almost 100 i was rolling thing to get to chapter #31 meet& greet,now on the way back set it on 70 all the way home got 15.3 got 5000 miles on it now stock other than stacks with cat no muff.and now no silencer ring and vain tube.. thinging of reflash but i am at 8500 pounds empty
