Hey all, I don't usually look in the 3rd gen area too much, and I can't say I'm really looking for/needing a new truck, but I stumbled upon one I might have to inquire about! I'm kinda sick of getting a ball joint/tierod end every few months as my 98 12V has over 200K on it now. It is stone reliable, never let me down, and I plow/haul/tow with it all the time. I'm thinking another newer truck would be nice to maybe just pull the camper with/putt around, leave the dirty nasty stuff for the 12V.

Like the title says, its an 03 Quad cab SLT, "HO 305hp" with 6 speed manual. 4x4, body really clean, haven't personally seen it yet. Not fully loaded, but they are only askin under $10k for it. Seem worth it? Everything about it looks good in picture form. I'm a little out of the loop when it comes to the knicks and knacks/problems/issues blah blah on these years. How are they for fuel mileage? Common failure points? I've done searching and I get overwhelmed, as I'm only searching for the problems. Any insight is appreciated.

for under 10K as long as mileage is acceptable, id go for it. the best i could find this summer was an 03 qclb 2wd so auto for 10K. I bought it and couldnt be happier. I routinely get over 20 mpg on the highway. im not looking for a truck to really modify is i wasnt worried about the auto trans or standard output engine, the power is already beyond significant and the fuel mileage is excellent. my dad has an 06 4wd qclb and he gets 18 or so at best on the highway, we both run 33s.

i would seriously look into that truck
