03 chasing a issue,

03 5.9 auto. 130000km. its allways been a bit hard starting but lately its been worse to the point of not starting at all

it has three codes. map sensor, crank sensor and a boost issue. (codes 113 237 and 336)

it was not preheating at all so I changed the map sensor. pre heats now. but code is still there.

checked battery condition and connections and found ps battery had a broken post. put in a new battery thinking this would fix the issue. didn't.

so now I am thinking possibly the broken/damaged wire by the oil filter issue (looked but saw nothing, going to pull the wrap off and check closer) and swap out the crank sensor.

am I in the right direction or should I be looking elsewhere?. this truck has been babied since new.

Try plugging in the engine block heater and see if it starts about 2 hours later. If so, that's what mine was doing. That told me it might be injectors, so I had them checked and 3 were below 50%. Put in a new set and starts like a champ. There were no other symptoms, towed and ran fine, just wouldn't start.

This occurred on mine around 150K miles and started last winter when the temps got below 40ish.
