03 block in a 06

can i use a 03 long block in my 06 or is there tomany difrences between them?

i have a flushed #6 in mine and found a deal on a 03

ok so the 5 hole injector in the 06 should work on the difrent pistons ok then ? and of all the people that could answer this i get the swole him self lol i just dont want to set myself to swole it lol

Oops! I Have to apologize for reading you post wrong..

I thought you were asking just about the block itself.. I missed the word "long" before "block..


In this case I would not run the 5 hole nozzles with the 03/04 pistons.

The other way around works and some are doing on purpose. The bosch motorsports nozzle evidently have the same spray angle (143*) as the 03/04 nozzles..

I don't think anyone suggest using the 5 hole (124*) nozzles with the 03/04 pistons..


Sorry that I screwed up and relpied without seeIng the true question..


Just get some 8 hole 03/04 OR motorsports nozzles and you'll be fine..

ok thanks for the responce i ended up going with a rebuild 06 longblock at this time got one with a 3 year 50,000 mile backing for 4500
