03/04

hey i'm looking at buying an 03/04 CTD and was wondering if there is anything i should be concerned about, probably going to get a six speed. any engine/tranny issues?

Mine is a 2003, 6 spd. I got it at 23K, had a rear u-joint go bad at 34K. That was changed out under the 36K warranty. First thing I did was get the filter kit from Geno's. No problems since, @ 56K now.

I don't know if you have kids that will be riding in the back, but the 03 does not have a rear headrests over the rear window and the 04 does. May seem like a small thing, until you get rear-ended.
