$1600 for four used injectors?

So my truck was in the shop (not a dealership) and they diagnosed, supplied and installed four used injectors. I was charged $250 for each injector and 6 hours shop time at $89 an hour. Does this sound reasonable?

Thats the price w/ out labor I'm afraid. It's not real hard to install them yourself.

GCL diesel injection $3200.00cnd 6 new injectors, tubes, installed and GST included as well as warranty! Dealers want $725.00cnd per injector, not installed and no tubes!

Holy cow that's a lot higher than I thought they typically cost! New ones are cheaper than that.

EDIT: In retrospect I see that this might be a pretty good deal.

i bought aftermarket nozzles for $500(slightly used) and installed them in 2 1/2 hours.
that's alot better than the price you got for stockers.

yes, it was a GREAT deal, as I was being quoted 3,700 for 6 brand new ones plus labor. I think I came out on top.

I also got 40 extra horse out of it, and know that the nozzles are bomb proof for what I do with my truck...all in all, wouldnt change a thing.
