Worst Heater I've Ever Had
Whats the deal with my truck? It gets up to temp, tranny is warm, everything working, but the heater takes FOREVER to get warm. It was 31 this morning and I have a 20 mile drive in traffic to work. By the time I get into the parking lot, its still blowing cold. Any tips?

You can also try running the **** in the recirc position.
Other positions pull in cold air from the outside though the heater core. Recirc and max A/C recirculate cab air that is warmer.

i flushed mine a few times now. first time i got alot of crud out, last 2 times its been less, and each time the heat gets hotter and hotter.
im gonna pick up some of the solution for flushing it, i used just water, but something to dissolve the junk would help alot more.

Radiator is less than 3 years old, probably could use a service for new fluids. I did not use any tap water, only the Peak brand pre-mix. I usually always run on recirculate but, when it is blowing that cold, it blows right at my face so I turn it down to the floor control until it gets warm, but we never get there.

I blew a headgasket 2 years ago, ran cascade and just water in the cooling system for a week to get the oil out. then want back to antifreeze/water mix
the radiator etc are good, but the heater core had all the stuff stuck in it blocking it...reverse flow is the only way to dislodge it.
