Working out glitches
I took a 95 Chevy 1 ton 6.5ltr N/A diesel I own out for a drive today & was surprised with the smooth ride as compared to my 96 RAM 2500 extended cab which seems to feel every crack in the road. I know it needs new tires but the old Chevy 1 ton van has a smoother ride? As I have always owned vans prior to buying the 96 RAM two month ago do they generally ride hard? The shocks appear to be ok as do the springs. Thanks

2nd gens are smooth what are you talking about take a ride in a 1st gen 4x4
The longer wheel base ext or quad cab 2nd gens ride better than that choppy reg cab of yours Dave put a couple of thousand of weight on it and then it rides good.

I remembered a couple of years ago,I hauled 36 cement side walk slabs...The truck rode like a Cadillac.....I have heard the 1st gen are really rough trucks...But its a truck and the rough ride doesn't bother me...
