I am no real help, but I may have the same problem. I replaced the blower resistor with no change. Once in a while I will hit a bump and the blower will kick in (loose wire?). I also get a clicking in the steering column, like a wire in a fan.

It could very well be the blower motor itself. Have you ever changed yours? Mine was working intermittently and it eventually stopped working. I would jump the motor and it would work. That sent me looking for other stuff. When it finally stopped working and I jumped it it did not work. I replace the motor and it has been working great. When something is going out it is intermittent. Those are the most difficult problems to find.

The fuse that the blower motor runs off is connected to the black/orange 12 gauge (heavy) wire coming out of the ignition switch. Having said that, blower motor resistor failures are common, but usually the fan will work on one speed only.

Check your fuse in the fuse panel. My blower quit working on me after i hit a bump. I was tracing wires and couldn't figure it out. It was just the fuse in the panel not getting a good connection. I pushed it back in and it works great.
