Wipers not working!!!

Need some help can't figure it out. Motor works with 12v put to it. Does not have 12v at the motor by it's self. Fuse is good. Ohmed the muti function switch and it seem to be good.

When it quit, it went slow for about 2 passes then quit and hasn't worked again. Washer also quit working.

I'm missing the cover to the relay box under the hood on drivers side so I don't know what relay is for the wipers.

Any help would be great.

I looked under my 96 cover and it does not list a relay for the windshield wipers nor anything related. My Haynes manual shows a fuse, a test for voltage at the motor and a test for continuity at the multi function switch in each position. The wiring diagram in the book does not show anything on the wipers.

Thanks for looking at the relay cover. I tried everything in the haynes manual and everything is good but no power at the motor.

But there should be a relay somewhere.

For starters almost everything these days has battery voltage available at the device. It is the ground that is switched to make the accsesory do its' thing.

I looked thru a PDF file parts manual and I do not see any relay for the wipers. I just see the multi function switch and the wiring harness. Hope you find the problem.

The motor is always grounded by one plug with one wire. There is second plug going to the motor with four wires and none of them show voltage no matter what I do.

I have ran a second ground wire no help.
I ran a seperate 12v source to the motor and it works with the factory ground.

Wish I had a wiring diagram!!!!!
