Windows don't roll down when in ACC mode
Ever since I have owned my truck, whenever I turn the key backwards, the windows don't roll down. Is that normal? On all 3 of our Chevy's and my friend's Ford, they work. But how come they don't on mine? Is there a way I could wire it up so it would?

Re:Windows don't roll down when in ACC mode
It's normal on mine. I have to turn the key to "start" to get them to operate. Somewhere.....somewhere there's a tech article on how to rewire the wondows so they either operate all of the time, ar when the key is in the "ACC" mode, I forget which way. I've seen it, and even read it, but I can't remember where. Dodgeram.org maybe?
EDIT.....Yes! Dodgeram.org

I rewired my '01 so the windows would work without the key. It was easy; no parts are damaged and no wires are cut and it is all done right at the fusebox inside the truck. I'd like to do the same thing for my '03 but they didn't make it quite so easy. I'll have to cut and jumper a wire to do it I think. I'll get to it one day when it's warmer outside.

Yea dodge did that. Kinda dumb. Same with the "hot shoe" for yoru cell phone. At least in the 95's, it's not on when the ignition is off. HELLO, are we thinking at DC :

Needless to say, I also rewired my windows and the shoe for the phone.
