Window Regulator
Well my window is stuck in the down position. I checked and it has power going to it, and when I press the switch I can hear the motor click but that's it. Guess I'm off to the *********** to buy another one. I've never replaced one of these before. How hard is it and any steps I need to know before proceeding? I already have the door panel and speaker takin off the truck. Just onto the actual motor. preciate it

ahh hgeez, went and bought a motor, and took the whole regulator off. Never done one of these before. WHen I took the motor off the regulator stupid me didn't see that it was spring loaded. Well looks like I have a puzzle on my hands for now to get that regulator back in the way it should be.

ahh as the narrative goes on. Got the motor and regulator in with the window all tightened down. It kinda binds going halfway up. Used some lube still didn't help. oh well I really don't feel like replacing the whole regulator. It works good. The only thing is I have two connectors that don't seem to connect to anything. stupid me didn't remember where I got them disconnected from or if they even connect to anything. oh well I wish I had beer so I could have an excuse to stop. l
window connector check
mirrow connector check
speaker connector check
why do I have two left over?

I don't have the manual at hand now...
If the window binds halfway up it's usually that you have the basepoint of the mechanism wrong- try to slide the window by hand to check whether it runs fine in the door or if it's getting stuck.

you know I was just a doop. The plugs connected into each other. Oh well. I greased up the regulator assembly and it works like a charm now. My life is complete for now. Until something else breaks.
