Who has a DECENT cheap tire?

If you're not in a hurry and live near a population center spring time is a good time to pick up tires from the big discount tire dealers that store winter tires for people.
If the stored tires owners don't show up after a certain amount of time the dealers will sell the used tires cheap, often with rims included.
Another thing, siping will make any tire last longer and handle twice as good on snow and ice. Most tire dealers charge around $10 a tire to sipe.

If you find a nice set of takeoffs check the DOT date of manufacture on them. Mine were off an 04 but were made in 03. They are Michelins and have been stored inside since removed. I have ran them for two summers now and they still are in great shape.
I'm not gonna say what I got them for because it'll just depress you.
