Made my own

Bought my truck about three years ago. Built my relay harness and had it in a week after I got the truck. Nice thing about it is you can use any size wire you want, not limited to what "they" want you to use. It has worked flawlessly. I would do it again on any thing I own.

I am going to try this but use the parking light wire to activate the relay so I dont have any more issues with the highs sticking on with the lows/fogs with the LMC harness.

Haloman,
I am looking to get the harness from lmc for my truck. I noticed that you had a problem with your high beams staying on. Is this a common problem for this harness. I have factory fog lights so I am not sure if I will have the same problem. I would like to know if I will have a problem before I order the harness.

Suvlights also has the harness with relays and also can get bright bulbs from them. I have not got mine yet.

I think this is a common problem. But with all my other upgrades, I don't use my high beams anymore. I am going to build a harness similar to what I posted above. (have all the parts just no time ATM). That should fix it by using the marker light to trigger the relay and take the fog light load off the headlight switch.

well UPDATE!!!
my low beam relay died!!! and i cant find another on the internet!!!
anyone know where to get these?? (besides calling LMC and ordering again)

NONE of the auto part stores even heard or seen them b4..
i dont want to have to mail order relays every time one goes out..

i would advise against this kit due to REPLACEMENT relay availability

really? Mine here in town had them. You have the harness from lmctruck.com right? A standard bosch relay should work.

I changed out my relays on the LMC harness to hella relays and bases for easyer replacement. Any one know where ya can find the 2 headlight sockets and the one socket that you plug into the factory harness so one can make their own harness , I can't find them anywhere.
