What's So IMPORTANT About The.....

LOW WASHER light that it HAS to be BRIGHTER than the water in fuel light, wait to start light, low fuel light, brake light, service engine soon light, or for that matter ANY light in the dash...... it just kind of ticks me off that that light HAS to be so freikin' bright.... any who maybe i need to figure out why it stays on even when the resivoir is full..... i guess it's time to remove the bulb..... it's not like it's important....

I don't understand why companies like Chysler are cutting corners to save money one things like transmissions, suspensions and seats, but at the same time, how much do you think the design, research and development, testing, installation and manufacture of that little windshield washer light costed?

It may have been mandated by the government since the windshield washer is safety equipment.

Have you checked to see that the correct bulb is in there. A PO may have put in a brighter bulb than necesary. You might also see if you can find a lower wattage bulb for it or hook a resister in the line.

Cant be as bad as the low tire preasure light in the wifes grand am. That thing is brighter than the signs on the vegas strip. That light will actually give you night blindness when it pops on in the dark! I would pull the bulb. So much easier thn adding a resistor when it is a semi useless dummy light.
