whats different b/t 2500 and 3500 4x4 front axle?

i know the rims look different??what about internals??

I could be wrong but I believe they are both Dana 60 frontends. The DRW uses a spacer mounted on the hub and the SRW model does not.

Please chime in if I am wrong.

They both use Dana 60's. Apparantly some 3/4 ton gassers came with HD Dana 44's, but we don't have to worry about that

Some of the late 2002 3500's came with a HD D60 (~5300LB)without a vacuum disconect.

There is also a minor difference in the hub diameter.
