Yip I do have at least one extra wire for sure. i cant remember about a 2nd one. I already built some bracket for an amp to mount under each seat as long with my sub box which is already installed under the back seat. Should have pics in my gallery linked from my sig. The big hold on on redoing the entire stereo was the head unit. Now that I have to replace that We had a 99 Dak that had the infinity but had infinity on the spkr grilles. I blew those spkrs. So I'm getting the head unit, then run the amp wires, and finally run new spkr wires. Not all in one day of course. OK So a quick extra question, for the fronts should I get components and mount aftermarket tweets in the stock location? I like the way they sound and was planning on doing that. Thanks again everyone!

If anyone is going to just install a new head unit and "replace" the speakers without adding an amp, they can follow my thread below.
I kept the crossovers to get out of rewiring the back doors and tweets. Yes, it's the easy way out, but I had already pulled the back panels to replace those POS's, so I didn't feel like digging back in there when I realized what was going on there.

I just bought a new Alpine head unit, bought a used q-form sub box w/2 10" Kenwood subs off the classifieds here, used an old alpine amp I had lying around for the box and hooked the factory infinity speakers up. It really sounds great. I've had good car stereos in the past and this ranks right up there with them. Yes, my buddy has an Eclipse, JL, and zapco system that is much better, but I only have about $500 in this system and that includes $100 xm receiver and $100 steering wheel control module. I have no problem with the factory front speakers at all. If they die, I'll replace them at that point.

Good thread though for when I do need to replace the factory speakers.

Every Infinity that I've seen (talking mostly all 2nd gens) have the Infinity name & logo on the face of the unit; also they have the 5 band graphic equalizer. Your pic appears to be the same as I have in my 95; it came out of a 96, the part label on the top of mine identified the supplier as Alpine.
