Wet floor?!

On the driver's side near the outboard edge of the floor near the plastic trim the upholstery is wet. It's collecting quite a bit of water there. Anyone had this problem? I haven't torn it apart yet but the only thing I can think of is that the weatherstipping is leaking. However, I parked with the truck on a transverse slope draining the water away from that part of the floor and it still collected water like its starting somewhere other than the weatherstripping. Ideas?

Sit inside your truck well someone sprays water on it with a garden hose and look for the leak. I've done that before to find leaks and it worked pretty good to find it.

My carpet was getting wet in the summer and it ended up being the AC system condensate water leaking back into the cab. I had to put an extension hose off the AC drain coming out of the fire wall.

I'd say 90% of these complaints are the third brake light gasket drying out and leaking. I say this becasue you state the drivers side is where the wetness is. If its the passenger side it can be the a/c condenser filling past the drain hole if it gets plugged. The drain hole is located low on the firewall behind the metal canister for the a/c unit. Stick a small bottle bruch in there a short ways to loosen any crud.

I don't see how the water could be finding its way all the way to the front seat of the drivers side though. Is that where water was ending up for people with leaking high stop lights?

Yes that's were the water was collecting. The front floor pans are the lowest point of the interior, with mine I could stick my finger down along the kick panel in the rear seat and feel the water there.Since changing the gasket two weeks ago there has not been any new water the carpet is still a little wet but it is drying out.As to what else it could be I'm not sure.
