Our old Snap On tool man had one in his truck.....was experiencing dead pedal, loss of power and smoke at times.....the truck dealer couldn't/wouldn't figure it out. Local tow service has them in there roll backs. Steel tanks started deteriorating inside and they started going through lift pumps/injection pumps like crazy. Lots of motor homes run the isb too.

John Deere also used the VP (and still does on a few OEM applications) on 4.5L (4 cylinder) and 6.8L (I6.) Didn't see it on too many tractors, but there are a few out there.. they used a few different fuel supply setups.. one with a contant run transfer pump.. the other used a pressure sensor and a PWM pump to vary the pressure..
