Urgent - need help with disconnecting fuel lines from tank

I didn't say or advocate this, but on my first one, it was so crudded up, I ended up cutting off the quick connects close to the tank, then when I got it down, threw away the quick connects, and slid a foot or so long piece of rubber hose over the plastic lines, and hose clamped.

Worked like a charm with Brownie........ I'm not telling you to do it, just what I did when I hut the wall........

so, as mentioned above, replace the funky metal module with the updated junky plastic version. add a draw straw while you're at it. cut both lines off, all the way back to where the plastic lines have been shrink fitted to the metal frame lines. replace that crap with good, fuel rated hoses and guarded hose clamps. and drive away worry free.

oh, and while you're in there...repair that leaking brake line
