Upper and Lower balljoints....
Question... It seems my lower ball joints are worn more so than the uppers on my 4x4. I have 163K on Old Besse, and While I believe in replacing uppers and lowers I would like some other opinions if willing to share.
Thanks all!
Thanks all!

Its typical for lowers to go first, I use the NAPA's cheaper than OEM and they have the grease fittings installed. Also get a needle injector so you can put grease in your tie rod end boots. They also go faster than upper ball joints. I put a shot of grease in every 2 months and they seem to last forever.

Can check out http://www.autopartsgiant.com I ordered the MOOG enhanced design with grease fittings. All four cost me $187.00, not to bad in my book and that includes shipping overseas. Mite even be cheaper for you. Thought I had one out but I guessed wrong. The original are still fine. Guess I will have some spares. Heard they are a PITA to change out to.

Ball joint replacecment
My 97 needed ball joints replaced at 90,000. I priced them at Orielly Auto Parts at about $320.00 and got a quote from Auto Zone for about $100.00. Orielly has a price match garuntee and I installed thiers with lifetime warantee for a little over a 100 bucks hope this will help.
