under body courtesy lights
My wife suggested that she needed some lights to illuminate the ground when she gets out of her truck (94 2500 4X4 2" lift on 37's) at night so she doesn't break a ankle or worse.
So, I purchased 3 lamps from superbright leds.
The hardest part was finding the correct wires to attach to. Under the door sill I found the correct wires, the pink (+12v) and the yellow (switched -12V/gnd). This turns on the lights when the door opens, wife will be happy!
One thing I had to do with the light I purchased was to cut the ground that is added to one of the mounts. The courtesy lamps are switched on via a switched ground not +12v.
These lamps draw 21ma (.021 amps) per lamp.

That's a sweet set up. My wife also noted how nice the "newer" rigs are with these type of lights.
I may have to put this mod on my list.
