'Been "dirt-tracking" more than once on an exit ramp after a leeeeetle too much throttle on a rainy day.
The trick is NOT to jump off the throttle. That'll throw you into a spin.
First time it happened, it took me a week to find the seat cover.............

I was thinking about converting to a dually and using it for a hotshot rig. turning radius is important. i thought 4x4 made a huge difference in how good the turning radius was. 4x4= bad T.R. and if i got dually fenders, i can put some 22" wide slicks on the back and go to the track w/o looking too horribly goofey. i wasn't really sure about the dually making the turning radius better-worse. i thought the front tires might rub on something if you convert it to dually.
i'm glad you found that seat cover shovehead. i bet htat was a little uncumfy-feelin

The 02 2wd Q-CAB, DRW I had, did not turn anyway near as good as the 97 4x4 I have now!! I love the way this truck turns!! The turn radius on the 97 is tight for such a big truck. It always amazes me how good it is. I always thought a 2wd would turn inside a 4x4 but mine sure didnt. Not only that the 97 rides a lot nicer than that 02 did, especially on the freeway expansion joints we have here. No load on the 02.....tighten up those kidney belts boys...

they're not cheap, but neither is CORRECTLY converting to duals (I don't believe in spacers out back)

i don't really know what all is needed in the back for duals.. do you have to get full rear hubs or do you have to actually get a dually rear end because it's wider overall?
#25
yes, the rear end is wider...
if you really wanna "hot shot", just run at night... I can't tell you how many 2500's I've seen with loaded 3 car wedges down here (the 19.5's will obviously be much safer)
