turning radius?

does anyone know how short the turning radius should be on a 94' dodge single cab long bed 2-wheel drive? seems like my cousin's 97 ext. cab dually2-wheel drive had a very good turning radius and was wondering if a single cab, single wheel would be better or worse than the extra cab dually, i havn't got my truck running yet, but ya'll have tought me a lot and answered all my questions so far. is there any way to make it better turning radius?? just curious on that one.

I have driven a quad cab 2500 and my single cab dually turns a lot sharper.

Singe cab = shorter wheel base = shorter turning radius

yup, I drove a club cab long bed, and it had a MUCH longer turning radius than my single cab!

I've found that my turning radius is infinitely variable.
Depending on road conditions, throttle application, Passenger tolerance, and presence of Law Enforcement personnel, it can go from "Give me 40 acres and I'll turn this rig around", to not much more than the length of the truck.

He stated it was either that, or a "Reckless" Exhibition of speed.
I chose the former.

i don't usually accept the passenger tolerance rule... so ya'll think i could whip a 40'er around and make the tires on the trailer run backwards for a little while? whip it in a parking space in front of that ricer-mobile, and back that 40' horse trailer in like nothin?

That'd be pretty neat, once you figure out how to do it make sure to make a video of it for us.

Mine turns on a dime. Especially compared to my wife's 04 F350 srw crew lwb and my previous chevy 2500 ecab lwb. I LOVE the turning radius of this truck, but don't know if it is a product of the 5 inch lift the truck came with, or if that's normal for this model... I've turned around in some tight places without having to worry about "johnny law"...

DRW will not affect your turning radius.....

As allready mentioned, 2x4 vs 4x4 and wheelbase are the main factors.

But they will affect how much throttle application it takes to break the rear tires loose.

Hint:
4 rear tires = less throttle 'specially on damp roads
