Truck wonders, pulls when braking lukes link>

Have a 97 4x4 3500 and truck wonders a bit, and pulls hard when braking. will be checking the tracking bar. I assume that will be the problem. Now far as replacement, is lukes link the best solution for the dollar? or are there other recommendations

Check some older threads about same issue. I posted about mine with same problem and the culprit was a bad flexible brake line. I relaced calipers, track bar, etc.

I just finished taking care of my truck with similar issues--replaced calipers/pads, tie-rod end, and both of the little whooptees at the end of the sway bar (what are those things called?). In the end, replacing the right front brake hose brought it around in a HUGE way. Could have spent $21, but instead spent $21+$240. Now I'm learning to drive without making steering corrections while braking.

It sure seems like the right brake hose problem is one that happens with regularity--I have seen it a number of times on the forum.

I would also encourage taking care of rear adjustment as per infidel's great advice, as well as the rear GM cylinders. Holy jeepers them cylinders make a difference!!!!

Have a good spring everyone!

Easy enough to check the trackbar to see if it's the problem. Simple steps here http://www.lukeslink.com/trackbar.html
Luke's is a cost effective way to fix the problem.
You do need a good vice and grinder though.
Not something you can do in the apartment parking lot.
