Track bar ideas

So I have been thinking of ways to fix my 1997's track bar problem with out spending money to get the 3rd generation bracket/track bar.

Why can't I cut off the ball joint and weld a solid bushing on the track bar, bolt it up and call it good?

Why don't they make a track bar with solid bushing ends now with out using the 3rd generation adapter bracket?

I won't have any problems with the fabrication..... Here is my 65 chevy truck I am working on..... All new rear suspension parts.

I would make bushings like I did for my lower control arms and upper wishbone on the 65..... Poly bushings....

Or would a spherical bearing work if installed on both ends? This would still allow for the flex.....no?

High bid I think the frame mount side of the bar would need a solid bushing. There is no way to keep a spherical rod end from moving so it would be like a sloppy ball joint....

If a Lukes link keeps a stock track bar from moving then a solid bushing should work great.

I just dont understand why company's don't make a solid bar replacement for the 94-2002 trucks. It would be lot cheaper than the 3rd gen upgrade.....
