this link is inside the link I posted on post#4. pictures show it done with the box out of the truck, but can easily be done with the box on the truck

Just use a punch or turn it in with your fingers after loosening the outter nut with a chisel. Can be done on the truck easier than removing box (takes all of 15-30mins depending how fast you are, do the bearing preload first THEN do the over center adjustment IF its needed.
If doing overcenter adjustment use caution. 1) make sure the wheels are in the straight ahead posn, absolutely critical that you do this. 2) when adjusting you can crank it in too far while trying to get rid of the steering wheel play. this causing the gears to mesh too tight, you can tell if you tightened too much, when road testing if the steering does not return to center on its own, if this is the case, keep backing it off till the steering wheel will return on its own
