Tailgate lock

A good hose clamp works well if you don't have to remove your gate too often ...I used a metric hi quallity band clamp on mine ...just put it over the pin that comes out on your gate ...that will slow them down for a cheep fit .
And it dose work ...I was in a resturant and was look out the window and some guy was putting down my gate ...it slowed him down enough ...he thought is was stuck ...it slowed him down enought that me and Mr. S&W went out to greet him ...LOL

Thanks for all the replies. I like the band clamp idea. I have a sliding tool box in my bed and when the canopy is off I'd like to be able to lock the tailgate closed. This would not allow the drawers to be pulled open, and its too heavy to lift out.
