suspension parts list

Hey all, I am going to basically redo my whole front end. I'm tired of wishy-washy steering and all the other crap that comes with it. I got onto RockAuto to start getting a parts list, and there is a TON of options (like 38.5 tapered vs. 40mm non-tapered) and I have no idea which one to get without pulling all the parts off first. Ideally I would like to have ball joints, tie rod ends, adjusting sleeves, pitman, trackbar, etc. ready to go rather than ordering it after being pulled off.

1) Does anyone have a list of part numbers from doing this on their truck.

2) Is this overkill. I'm know my ball joints are bad, same with track bar, the rest I figure wouldn't be a bad idea to take care of with the suspension disassembled.

If you don't know the specific part #'s is there a reference I could lookup with my VIN or other vehicle specific code that would give me what I need?

Thanks for the help.

Aaron

BTW, just in case not all 2500's have 'em, I've got the Dana 60 front axle, let me know if there is other info needed that I didn't provide.

As far as track bar....the 3rd gen upgrade is a great improvement. I bought mine from Rip at www.sourceautomotive.biz Lukes Links sells a complete rebuild kit that gives you new tie rod ends for the whole front end for $200....including track bar link in the kit. I noticed a big improvement after replacing the steering column bushing with the rock solid ram kit. Just some ideas.
