I don't follow. I did state that I have personal experience with one of my own vehicle, and have seen quite a few more have problems with this "miracle juice" paint. If you like throwing money away, so be it.

This link is for the Eastwood company. They are a little pricey on some things but have a lot of tools and material for all you guys and gals doing any body work. Thought I would post it so you can take a look. They also have a pretty good rust encapsulator that I have used in the past.

Skargo what is the manor of failure that you have seen with Por15? I used it on the floor of my truck and so far it looks good, it has only been a few months though. I did sandblast all the rust spots before applying the coating and then used the Por15 as a preventative. I guess I'm curious as to whether the problems you have encountered are with trying to cover heavy rust or what.

Delam has been the biggest failure I've personally witnessed, on properly prepared panels.

por 15 lasted about 3seconds on my truck and I did follow the directions. I found sanding it, hitting it with acatone and putting rustolem on it to last longer then por15. Id like to try that Rust Bullet though sounds good. I've used eastwood's chassi black spraypaint on my car and that holds up toa few more knocks then regular spray paint. maybe there rust encapsleator would work too.

Ive been buying the metal-ready phosphoric acid/ zinc stuff in 1-gal jugs. Anyone know where I can get some of the rust convertor types that turn the rust black in 1-gal quantity?

Just to wrap this thing up, I went to a local auto parts store, got a small (5oz) can of color matched paint, hit the surface rust with a little 220g sandpaper, and threw on 4-5 coats. It looks really good, and even if it didn't look 100%, you have to darn near crawl under the truck to see the spots on either side. Total cost - $10.
