Have you checked all connections? Pull your deck out and check for loose/broken connections as well as the wires running to your speakers. Thats most likely the culprit, just as a procaution check your fuses too, I dont think a fuse would make only one speaker not work but who knows. If all connections are good then most likely your speaker went bye bye..Is your system aftermarket?

That's what happened to mine when the speaker went out. Do you have the Infinity stereo? Mine was with the amplifier on the back of the speaker. Not sure if it was the amplifier, or the speaker was bad.

The whole driver side of the truck isnt working thats my dilemma. I checked for power at the speaker and there was nothing there. So now I have to go back to the headunit. Is it possible one side of the stereo went out.

I have a similar problem, but 3 of my 4 speakers quit working. I've replaced the speakers with higher quality Kenwood speakers, but that had no effect. I pulled out the head unit but there were no obvious connection problems there, so I'm strongly suspecting the head unit is bad.
I don't know if yours is doing the same thing, but just thought I'd throw that out there.

My passenger side went out like this. I opened up the door panel pulled the speaker out and by moving the wiring harness around a bit it started working again. Not quite sure if there is a short in the winring or what by mine has been good for over a month now. Funny thing is it made all speakers on the passenger side stop working event though the problem seems to be the wiring in the door.

Mines been like that for 5 years!
It comes and goes as it pleases, some days I can turn up the radio to a good song and jam and other days I'm pushing the passenger side speaker to the limit.
As far as the problem being in the radio, anything is possible. I'd check my wires and such real good, check resistance thru the wires, resistance to ground make sure they're not shorted to ground or each other or loose connections in the actual connector. Have seen the female pins get pushed backwards in the plastic connector and not make good contact with the male pins and cause issues. But if all of that checks out then speaker or radio, kinda have to pull out the shotgun then!
