start of DW I think....@203k miles..?'s on front end
Well, I think its my turn. I ve searched....I ve read.....
Didn t find much on the edelbrock shocks....and they seem to look good.
edelbrocks, bilstein, or rancho 9000's and are there any deals on them?
I guess some front end diagnoses is in order and prob thurens stabilzer and maybe some poly bushings. Where can I get poly bushings? I ve never seen them listed by anyone.
alignment will be last, it hasn t been touched since 150k miles, so I guess I m pretty lucky. Its not a DW yet.....just a small shake at 70 mph, seems like its the right front so I think shocks may fix it.

When my '97 got DW I tried shocks first but that didn't help anything at all. It probably needed a track bar but I didn't know enough about these trucks to try that. That was also back in 1998 so a lot has been learned since then. My next attempt was putting a Skyjacker Dual Steering Stabilizer on and that stopped the DW but I think the real problem was in the track bar. But it fixed it so I was happy. Have someone lightly steer from side to side while you climb under there and check for play. I just did mine (70K miles) and found the track bar and 3 out of 4 tie rod ends loose. I'm going to replace all of it and get it over with all at once.
