No one seems to care when they blind me, and the 100W HIDs will be for those that wanna play games.

And that video is NOT with High/Low just lows.

Well I hope you find the lighting your looking for. Let us know when you get it dialed in.

I wasnt tryign to start an argument, however, I personally know folks that ride around with a can/cup/container of BB's, ballbearings, random nuts/bolts in the cup holder just waiting for oncoming to blind them.

I want bright lights and better visability - the last thing I want is to endanger somes kids/wife/etc by blinding them.

and now back to the thread topic....sport lights in a non sport....

yup back on topic those picts look amazing! Im still waiting for suvlights to come back up, want to order the sports asap. has anyone seen the adaptor that splits from our one headlight socket into two and plugs into the sports? Looks like it draws twice the power from the stock switch, bad idea right? Bottom of page: http://headlightsdepot.com/advanced_...43f9b4e040a10a

Yeah, I saw that 2 into 1 harness. BAD - EXTREMELY BAD - Idea.

If stock headlights with 1 bulb are killing headlight switches (known issue with these trucks) Can you image what twice the power draw will do?

I could be wrong - Im not an electrical engineer by any means - But I saw that and just shook my head. The whole point of putting in a new harness with relays is to remove the power "draw" from the OEM headlight switch hence making your lights brighter.

As far as SUVlights go - they lost a customer with me. Ill never purchase from or reccomend them.

I don't have them adjusted to point into the left lane, I have yet to be flashed on my way home from work.

That is actually the kit I have on the 98.5 and it worked well for the cost. It doesnt utilize both low and both high, the outside are your low(9007) and the inside are the highs(9004). If I wasnt using the 98.5 for a test bed for the 96 the HIDs wouldnt be needed.

I have started to kick around the idea of hooking up the normal bulbs on the inside but haven't really thought about the how yet. Not sure if it is really needed though.

Can you explain why you're not a fan of suvlights.com? I'm thinking a sport light conversion would be a nice thing to do, and I'd like to know what's the deal with different companies.

Thanks.

I think youll be allright with that 2 into 1 wiring kit IF you arent running your highs and lows tied together. If you want brighter lights still, just get the relay'd wiring kit from LMC or Daniel Stern, SUV lights (if they ever open back up).

I am irritated with them - They wont bring their website back up and I emailed them looking for a estimated date when it would be online, they replyed with a very rude email. Lost me right then and there. In this economy -you think they would be fighting FOR customers, not fighting them off.

I got to think ing about it and checked out a harness I had bought a few years back for a F-250 and low and behold Its from them. The same qaulity can be had from other vendows such as LMC truck, summit racing, daniel stern lighting, Dieselautopower etc without the headache and rudeness...

I honestly don't think I'll need brighter, just odd having the inners be dead and never use them. But I really do like the look of the sports on the truck.

Well the single kit is enough and plenty of light, but I bought my little brother a set of HID's for his Ford. I got a wild hair and tried it along with the other set I have in my truck, and yea it's too bright...

This is a GREAT post, but can anybody provide more details on the parts list? I have tried to get a wiring kit with all the relays but SUVlights and DavielSternlights are not responding to request. All I have to go on for updating my wiring is DSlights website info and postings like this one. It would be nice to know what relays work the best and where to get them, if anyone has that info. Thanks and I will keep my eyes out.

I just ordered this easy to install relay kit:
http://www.genosgarage.com/BRITE-BOX...fo/BB_4_2_7_4/

All the parts are sitting in my den, just no time to install
